Gambling Treatment Program The St Vincent's Hospital Sydney Gambling Treatment Program is a government funded service 1. Our service provides FREE, confidential and highly effective treatment for people who are concerned about, or affected by, problem gambling. We are a registered health promotion charity (not-for-profit organisation) run by volunteers and professionals working in the field of problem gambling and social welfare. Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in the impacts of gambling in the community.

How much does it cost?
You can choose to become a financial or non-financial member. The categories of membership are:
- Affiliate member – $0 p.a. Affiliate members can stay up-to-date with the work of the GIS by receiving a quarterly copy of the e-newsletter and other relevant information. Affiliate members cannot vote at the annual general meeting (AGM).
- Individual member – $30 p.a. (student/concession $15 p.a email secretary@gisnsw.org.au for more info.). Individual members contribute financially to the ongoing work of the GIS and receive copies of the e-newsletter, invitations to conferences and forums relating to gambling issues and discounts on GIS hosted training. Individual members are eligible to join the GIS management committee and vote at the AGM.
- Organisational member – $60 p.a. Organisational membership is open to Community Services, Health and Welfare Services, Gambling Help Services and other community focussed agencies who would like to contribute financially to the ongoing work of the GIS. A representative of an organisational member is eligible to join the GIS management committee and vote at the AGM.
Your membership runs to 30 June each year and we’ll contact you in advance each year to ensure your membership stays up to date.

What is the ACT Gambling Support Service?
The AGSS is a free service offering confidential face-to-face, telephone and online counselling services for people experiencing harm associated with gambling.
AGSS also offers education and prevention activities in relation to problem gambling, as well as referrals to other community agencies when necessary. The AGSS will assist with self- exclusion from gambling venues.
