Hours of operation for the facility’s casino depend on the day of the week and are subject to change on national holidays, special occasions hosted at the property, and as determined by the resort’s management. The gambling floor is open from 10 AM to 2 AM on Monday through Thursday; closing time extends to 4:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
Jupiters Townsville Casino is not open to anyone under the age of 18. Guests at the hotel property and other facilities are not subject to any age restrictions. As for the dress code, Jupiters Townsville has a few specific guidelines, requiring attire that is “neat, clean, and tidy” in all areas of the resort. Specific restrictions ban singlets, swimwear, tracksuits, and athletic shorts except in areas like the pool and gym where the clothes are appropriate. All guests are restricted from wearing open-toed shoes after 6 PM.

VIP Gaming
Jupiter Townsville’s casino has a dedicated VIP Lounge near the rear of the centre that opens to views of nearby Magnetic Island. In the VIP lounge, bar staff and game hosts open private tables and gambling machines for the casino’s special guests and high rollers. A large outdoor smoking area is also open to customers invited to the VIP section. Open all day seven days a week, this part of the floor is home to the higher limit gaming machines and high roller versions of blackjack, roulette, and baccarat on Friday and Saturday nights only.
Entrance to the VIP Lounge is open to Absolute Rewards club members at the Black and Pearl level. To enter the lounge, guests present their club card to the staff or swipe it through a card reader at the lounge’s entrance.
Hotel Accommodations and Other Amenities
Jupiters Townsville Hotel & Casino was built to take advantage of the popular Townsville breakwater, near tropical gardens with views of the national park on Magnetic Island. Guests at the complex are within walking distance of a ferry terminal, the city’s central business district, and the Palmer Street and Flinders Street neighbourhoods famous for their restaurants and clubs.
The hotel property has two hundred guest rooms. Three restaurants are located around the resort: Aqua, where fresh seafood and Australian wines dominate the menu, the signature restaurant K?be, featuring modern takes on Japanese cuisine and the more traditional Australian diner Spin with access to the gaming floor. The resort is also home to five unique bars, including one open to the casino itself.
Other amenities for guests include a large pool complex, a spa and fitness centre, and a large business facility with eleven conference and meeting venues.
