Wyandotte County has limited gatherings to 10 people or fewer in the wake of increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations here. Currently the limit on gatherings is 45 in Wyandotte County. The announcement came today at the same time as Kansas City, Missouri, also limited gatherings to 10 and implemented other restrictions.
The Wyandotte Nation of Oklahoma has completed the first part of a $30 million casino expansion project. The Wyandotte Casino will be seeing upgrades to the casino floor, a remodeled deli, an event center and a club with a billiards area, shuffleboard area and bowling alley. The changes make their official debut on December 5. 'You can literally make a night of it, you can come down for the entertainment, before or after the show, you could go to our club, enjoy the bowling alley, go to the restaurant,' general manager Gary Johnson told The Neosho Daily News.
